About Me

Hello! I’m Robert Melstein and I am running for reelection as a trustee  on the Ossining Board of Education for the 2026-2029 term.


My wife Jen and I moved to Ossining in 2010 and our son Max is a student in seventh grade at Anne M. Dorner Middle School. We love living here. I am especially grateful to have grown up with families from diverse cultures and backgrounds, which is one of the key reasons we picked Ossining.


I've been a trustee on the Ossining Union Free School District School Board since 2023, having been elected to a three-year term.


I’m also coach and on the Ossining AYSO Region 201 Soccer Board, Ossining Recreation Center Basketball Coach and have been an Ossining JCYS Baseball Assistant Coach.


I graduated from Binghamton University (SUNY) earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Marketing.


My professional marketing and communications experience, including managing large teams and budgets, has spanned Fortune 100 companies in industries including telecommunications, health care, aviation and financial services. 


Aside from spending time with my family, I enjoy traveling, watching sports – baseball (Yankees), hockey (Rangers), football (Giants, though I don't root against the Jets, either!) and classic cars – especially from 1970s and 1980s.
